Thwaite Howe - a country house built of local stone in the 1860s, is situated in its own attractive acre of grounds. Thornthwaite Forest provides a stunning backdrop to the rear, and the house stands in an elevated position looking across the Derwent Valley to the magnificent mountain views of Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn.

A full english breakfast is available each morning with a selection of cerials,fruit juice, Tea or Coffee etc. Packed Lunches can be provided providing the order is placed before 1900 the evening before requirement
