The Royal Hotel is ideally situated just out of the centre of Bridlington yet only around 100 yards from the beautiful South Beach. Bridlington has some of the best sandy beaches in the country and all within easy level walking of the Royal Hotel.

The South Beach is only 2 minutes walk from the front door with the Spa Theatre and conference centre only an additional 10 minutes along the promenade with Leisure World being just beyond.

The Royal Hotel can accommodate up to 7 cars on our own off street car park and Shaftesbury Road has no restrictions for additional parking.

All of our 16 rooms are en-suite and all are individually decorated and have TV/DVD and freeview,tea/coffee making facilities, CD radio alarm clock and wire-free internet connection. We have a comfortable lounge and an additional bar, with an open fire, where we are licensed to help our guests enjoy their stay further.

For the comfort of our guests, the dining room is non-smoking. Following on from your evening meal you are invited to join us in the bar or to enjoy the large garden area with a relaxing drink as the sun sets in the west.

Security Deposit:

Bookings can be confirmed by the provision of a non-returnable deposit. This is normally equal to £10 per person per night or £50 per person per week of accommodation booked. Except for special events e.g. Christmas, New Year and certain weekends throughout the year where a higher deposit would be required. This deposit will be held against the room until the final account is settled. The deposit may be made by cheque or cash direct to the hotel or by debit or credit card (surcharge of 2.5% for credit cards) over the telephone.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so as far in advance as possible. Both parties should endeavour to re-let the accommodation. Should neither party succeed then the person making the reservation remains legally liable to pay for that accommodation. However, if it has not been possible to re-let the accommodation, we reserve the right to charge for the full stay booked. In most cases this liability can be covered by insurance. We therefore strongly recommend that cancellation insurance is taken out. If you cancel your stay, you must inform The Royal Hotel in writing before the arrival date.Cancellation charges depend upon when we receive your written instruction prior to the date of your scheduled arrival. Notice Period Cancellation Charge 56 days or more Deposit returned less an administration charge of £20 per room 15 - 55 days 50% of total holiday price 14 days or less 100% of total holiday price

Payment Methods: Payment is accepted using Cash, Cheque, VISA, MasterCard, Delta, Electron, Maestro and Solo. A charge of 2.5% is to be levied for the use of Credit Cards. Debit Cards may be used free of charge.

Other policies: Parking The Royal Hotel does not accept any responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles and their contents whilst parked on The Royal Hotel property. Parking is done entirely at the vehicle owner's risk. Security Keys are issued on loan to guests for their convenience and security. Keys must not be loaned to any person other than those occupying the relevant rooms. The loss of a key will result in a £5.00 surcharge. Mobility Scooters We welcome all guests and their mode of transport. We can provide a secure, covered docking station for your mobility scooter (subject to availability). Extra Charge Applies. The hotel accepts no liability for any theft or damage howsoever caused. WiFi The hotel offers WiFi throughtout (charge applies). The hotels accepts no responsibility for any corruption or damage to any data, software or hardware.
