Plum Tree is one of four self catering cottages in Brittany that have been restored to provide modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse. Leaving in lots of the original features, like granite walls and exposed oak beams. Set in 2 acres of secure gardens with views over undulating farmland. A perfect place for all the family to enjoy, children can play in the heated pool, while the parents relax under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine.
Although we are in a quiet location, we are only 5 mins away from the village centre with its bar-tabac-restaurant-shop. And only 10 mins from Louvigne du Desert with its, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Also nearby are attractions like Mont Saint Michel, water and floral parks, walking and cycle tracks, trout fishing, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, Chateaux, and numerous places of interest. We are the ideal place for that weekend break, a house-hunting trip, that romantic getaway or that family holiday, group bookings also available. There really is something for everyone in this beautiful part of Brittany.
Plum Tree Cottage is Aatypically French family cottage, open plan living so no one gets left out of the holiday - The ground floor consists of an open plan lounge/ kitchen /dining area, so Mum doesn't feel left out of the holiday and stuck in the kitchen. The comfortable lounge/ dining area has a log burner, some granite walls and exposed oak beams. The well equipped kitchen area has a door leading to a covered veranda. The 1st floor has a shower room and 2 bedrooms, a large double bedroom and a bedroom with bunk beds both with granite walls and exposed oak beams. There is a separate patio with garden furniture, sun canopy and a BBQ
The Gardens:
Large safe gardens with a heated above ground pool, a 14ft trampoline with safety nets, table tennis and lots of other items to keep everyone amused.
The Area:
Near to Mont Saint Michel, miles of sandy beaches, water parks, walking & cycle tracks, fishing, something for everyone in fact.

A £100 (145€) deposit is required to secure your booking. A Booking Form with Terms and Conditions is available on request. The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival along with the £150 (220€) security deposit. A £150 (220€) security deposit is required per cottage, this will be refunded to you after you leave providing it has been left in a reasonable condition and there are no breakages. If the cottage has not been left in a reasonable condition then £50 (70€) will be deducted to cover costs.
In the event of a non-insurable cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if the owner is able to re-let the property, and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount. It is strongly recommended that the client should arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's belongings etc., since these are not covered by the owners insurance.
